Houston Ranked 23rd in Latest CSCAA Poll

Cougars ranked in back-to-back polls for first time in program history
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Swimming & Diving program will close out the 2019 calendar year at No. 23 in the latest Division I TYR Rankings.

Houston will head into the New Year with quite a few things to be proud about. The Cougars are undefeated in dual meets and won their fourth consecutive Phill Hansel Invitational in November. The Cougars head into the New Year holding conference-leading times in 16 events, along with seven top-25 times nationally. This marks the first time that Houston has been ranked in back-to-back polls in program history.

Houston will return to action on Jan. 16 at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville, before returning home to take on Arkansas who is receiving votes in the poll on Jan. 24 at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
