
Houston Meets Houston Baptist on Tuesday

Cougars tip off vs. Huskies at 7 p.m., Tuesday, inside Fertitta Center
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Men's Basketball program returns to action when it plays host to Houston Baptist at 7 p.m., Tuesday, inside the Fertitta Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The Cougars (2-2) have alternated wins and losses through the first four games and look to return to their winning ways when they meet the Huskies for the first time since Dec. 16, 2014.
Houston enters Tuesday's game on the heels of a 78-66 loss at No. 11/11 Oregon on Friday inside Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore. Redshirt freshman guard Caleb Mills finished with a game-high 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting and grabbed four rebounds. It was his third straight game with double-digit points.
Junior forward Brison Gresham led all players with eight rebounds as the Cougars outrebounded the Ducks 38-26 with 17 offensive rebounds.
After scoring a career-high 32 points in Tuesday's win at Rice, sophomore guard Quentin Grimes leads the Cougars and is tied for seventh in the American Athletic Conference with 15.8 points per game. The Woodlands, Texas, native also is tied for eighth in the league with 3.5 assists per contest.

Fans who were unable to purchase season tickets can get a head start for the 2020-21 season by placing their names on the Priority Waiting List for only a $50 deposit.
