Cougars look to remain spotless at home
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball team returns home to face HBU on Sunday inside the Fertitta Center. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m.

• Sunday's meeting is the third all-time between the two teams in a series that began during the 2010-11 season.
• Houston leads the all-time series 2-0, after defeating the Huskies on Dec. 10, 2011 in a 109-42 decision.
COUGAR FASTBREAK
•Houston enters Sunday's game with a 1-2 overall record this season after most recently falling to New Mexico in Albuquerque.
• Houston has three players averaging double-digits this season led by Jasmyne Harris with 14.3 points per game, she is followed by Dorian Branch who secured her first 20-point game of the season against New Mexico and is averaging 12.3 points per game. Tatyana Hill is third in scoring on the team providing 11.3 points per game.
• Houston is averaging 62.3 points per game on 37.7 percent shooting from the field and a 22.6 percent mark from beyond the 3-point line. The Cougars allow 71.7 points per game on defense while letting opponents shoot 39.4 percent and 40.0 percent from the field and beyond the arc, respectively.
• Hill leads Houston on the glass, pulling down 8.3 rebounds per contest
• Houston has forced 71 turnovers by its opponents this season, with three consecutive games with 10 or more forced turnovers and at least 10 steals in two of its three games this season. Under Coach Hughey, Houston has been one of the most active defensive teams in the country over the past two seasons. The Cougars enter the game ranked 56th nationally in steals (34) and 68th in steals per game (11.3) and 52nd in turnovers forced (22.33). Houston has forced 20 or more turnovers in every game this season and racked up 10 or more steals in two of its last three.

• HBU enters Sunday's contest with an 2-1 overall record. The Huskies most recently fells to Baylor in Waco in a 112-42 decision.
• Houston Baptist is averaging 57.3 points per game on 34.6 percent shooting from the field and 16.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
• Houston Baptist enters its seventh season under Head Coach Donna Finnie and are led in scoring by Timia Jefferson who is averaging 13.0 points per game. N'Denasija Collins leads the Huskies on the boards with six rebounds per game, as Kennedy Wilson leads the squad with eight assists this season.
