Cougars set for meeting with undefeated Lobos
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball program will head to Albuquerque, N.M. for a Tuesday meeting with New Mexico.

COUGAR FASTBREAK
• Houston enters Tuesday's game with a 1-1 overall record this season after defeating Southeastern Louisiana in its home opener.
• Houston's Jasmyne Harris paces the squad in points per game with 13.5 per contest, while Tatyana Hill is second on the team with 11.5 points per night.
• Houston is averaging 58.0 points per game on 36.2 percent shooting from the field and a 14.7 percent mark from beyond the 3-point line. Through two games the Cougars allow 67.0 points per game on defense while letting opponents shoot 40.2 percent and 37.5 percent from the field and beyond the arc, respectively.
• Hill also leads Houston on the glass, pulling down 9.0 rebounds per contest.
• Houston has forced 50 turnovers by its opponents this season, with back to back games with 10 or more steals and 20 or more forced turnovers.
• Under Coach Hughey, Houston has been one of the most active defensive teams in the country over the past two seasons. The Cougars enter the game ranked 32nd nationally in steals (25), 51st in steals per game (12.5) and 36th in turnovers forced (25.00). Houston has forced 20 or more turnovers in its last two games and also racked up 10 or more steals.

•New Mexico is averaging 81.5 points per game on 38.6 percent shooting from the field and 26.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
• New Mexico enters its fourth season under Head Coach Mike Bradbury and are led in scoring by Jayla Everett who is averaging 21.5 points per game. Antonia Anderson leads the Lobos on the boards with seven rebounds per game, as Everett also leads the squad with six assists this season.
