MILESTONES
Two Cougars will be chasing milestones this week. With his next win, Head Coach Kelvin Sampson will record the 600th victory of his near 30-year career and the 100th victory during his Houston tenure.
He will become the 52nd coach in history (with 10+ years at the NCAA Division I level) to reach 600 career wins.
Senior point guard Galen Robinson Jr. needs only eight assists to become the sixth player in school history to dish out 500+ assists during his career.
With three more assists, Robinson will join Derrick Daniels as the only players in school history to record four 100+ assist seasons during their careers. With 11 assists, Robinson will move into sole possession of fourth place on the career assists chart in Houston history.
In addition, Robinson's next start will be the 100th of his career, becoming only the eighth player in Houston history to reach that mark.
