Televised Houston coaches shows to be produced in Valenti School studios with UH student involvement.
HOUSTON – Houston fans looking for an inside look throughout the Houston Football season can do just that this fall as Houston Football Central airs on AT&T SportsNet Southwest.

Hosted by Kevin Eschenfelder, 10 episodes of Houston Football Central will air on AT&T SportsNet Southwest beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30. Eschenfelder will be joined in studio each week by Houston Head Coach Major Applewhite and other guests from the Houston Football program looking back at the previous week's game and previewing Houston's upcoming contests.
For the third consecutive season, Houston Football Central tapings will take place in the Valenti School's Funston Communications Center studios and production facilities with Valenti students holding several production roles.
Following the fall semester, Valenti students will have the opportunity to produce Houston Basketball Central beginning in January as Houston Men's Basketball Head Coach Kelvin Sampson and guests join Eschenfelder in studio to discuss recent games and look ahead to upcoming games. The studio will also welcome Houston Baseball Head Coach Todd Whitting for Houston Baseball Central.
Houston fans can find AT&T SportsNet Southwest on AT&T U-verse channels 758 in SD and 1758 in HD, on DIRECTV channel 674 and on Comcast channels 39 in SD and 639 in HD. The network's programming schedule is available at southwest-attsn.att.com.
