Houston Alum to Play Overseas

HOUSTON -- Former Houston Soccer standout Selena Peters has inked a contract with Maccabi Kiryat Gat FC out of Israel.
"First off I would like to thank the coaching staff, in particular, Danesha Adams for helping me with this opportunity to play overseas and continue my dream," said Peters. "I am excited for this opportunity. It is a dream come true."
A native of Houston, Peters closed out a decorated career at the University of Houston where she saw action in 65 games making 43 starts. This past season Peters led the Cougars in four categories; goals, points, shots, and SOG. The striker posted a team-high seven goals last season to go along with two assists and closed out her career fourth all-time in goals scored at Houston and top-10 in three other categories. Peters finished the 2017 season with All-Conference Second Team honors.

The Houston Athletics Ticket Office is proud to offer the season tickets for the 2018-19 athletic season. For just $25, Cougar fans can purchase one season ticket, which allows season-long general admission entrance to all Houston Soccer. To purchase a season ticket, click HERE.
