Houston Adds Three Satellite Camps

HOUSTON â€" Aspiring champions will have the opportunity to learn from the best and the state of Texas' 2015 New Year's 6 Bowl representative as the Houston Football program, in conjunction with Texas A&M, has added three satellite camps to its 2016 camp schedule.
The programs will head to the south side of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex on Thursday, June 9, for a camp at Lancaster High School with registration at 1 p.m., and camp running from 2 to 5 p.m.
Friday, June 10, will see the two programs heading to the north side of the DFW Metroplex with a morning camp from 9 a.m. to noon at Coppell High School before heading to east Texas that evening with a 5:30-8:30 p.m. camp at Kilgore High School. On-site registration for the two camps will begin at 8 a.m., and 4:30 p.m., respectively.
The three satellite camps are in addition to the eight camps being held on the UH campus throughout the summer by the Houston Football coaching staff with six in June and two in July.

The program will hold two mini camps (June 6 & June 17), one youth camp (June 6-8), three specialist academies (June 8, July 15 & July 28), one lineman camp (June 14) and one quarterback/wide receiver academy (June 16) on the Houston campus.
All three satellite camps cost only $30 for pre-registration and $40 for walk-up registration for campers entering ninth through 12th grades and any junior college students in 2016 and include a camp t-shirt. Online registration and release forms for all 11 camps are available by visiting HoustonFootballCamps.com. Any walk-up campers must complete release forms found on HoustonFootballCamps.com prior to arriving at camp.
All online registrations for camps will also have a $5 processing fee. High school coaches interested in volunteering at any of the Houston Football camps should contact Tori Magers at vkmagers@central.uh.edu.
Both mini camps (Monday, June 6, and Friday, June 17) will be held on the University of Houston campus and cost just $30 for pre-registration and $40 for walk-up registration for campers entering ninth through 12th grade and any junior college students in 2016. On-site registration will open at 5 p.m. with each camp running from 6 to 9 p.m. Campers at the mini camps will receive a camp t-shirt.
UH will welcome its youngest campers to the Athletics/Alumni Center (3204 Cullen Blvd., Houston, TX 77204) June 6-8 as it hosts its youth camp for campers entering second through eighth grade in 2016. The three-day camp kicks off each morning at 9 a.m. and continues to 4:30 p.m. with a cost of $225 for pre-registration and $250 for walk-up registration that includes lunch each day and a camp t-shirt. On-site registration begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 6.
A lineman camp for offensive and defensive linemen entering ninth through 12th grade and junior college students in 2016 will be held on the UH campus on Tuesday, June 14. Registration for the camp starts at 8 a.m. with the camp running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pre-registration is $50 with walk-up registration set at $60 which includes lunch and a camp t-shirt.
Three specialists camp for kickers, punters and deep snappers for those entering ninth through 12th grade and junior college students in 2016 will be held on campus Wednesday, June 8, Friday, July 15 and Thursday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Held on the University of Houston campus, the one-day event costs $150 and includes lunch with a camp t-shirt with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The Houston quarterback/wide receiver academy will be held on the Houston campus on Thursday, June 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for campers entering ninth through 12th grade and junior college students in 2016. Pre-registration is $50 with walk-up registration priced at $60, which includes lunch, and a camp t-shirt with on-site registration starting at 8 a.m.
