Houston Football Camps Postponed

HOUSTON - Due to inclement weather in the area, Houston Football's Kicking Academy scheduled for Wednesday has been pushed back one day to Thursday with registration and the camp taking place inside TDECU Stadium. Registration for the event will begin at 2 p.m. and the camp will kick off at 2:30 p.m.
The Houston Football Lineman Camp scheduled for Tuesday was rescheduled earlier today to Wednesday, July 22, after Monday's mini camp was cut short due to lightning.
In addition to the postponements and cancellation, a third mini camp has been added to the Houston Football summer camp slate and will be held on July 22 as well. Campers in attendance at Monday's shortened mini camp may shift their registration to the July 22 mini camp or any one of the four Houston road camps scheduled for this weekend.

The lineman camp for offensive and defensive linemen entering ninth through 12th grade in 2015 will be held inside the Athletics/Alumni Center on July 22. Pre-registration is $50 with walk-up registration set at $60 which includes lunch and a camp t-shirt. Exact camp times will be announced at a later date.
The Houston quarterback/wide receiver academy will be held on the Houston campus on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for campers entering ninth through 12th grade in 2015. Pre-registration is $50 with walk-up registration priced at $60, which includes lunch, and a camp t-shirt with on-site registration starting at 8 a.m.
A second specialists camp for kickers, punters and deep snappers for those entering ninth-12 grade in 2015 will be held on campus Wednesday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Held at the Athletics/Alumni Center (3100 Cullen Blvd., Houston, TX 77204), the one-day event costs $150 and includes lunch with a camp t-shirt with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The Houston staff will hit the road for four camps across the state of Texas on June 18-20 starting with the East Texas camp on Thursday, June 18, at Kilgore High School in Kilgore, Texas. The camp runs from 3 to 6 p.m. with registration starting at 2 p.m.
UH will paint the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex red on Friday, June 19, with a North Metroplex camp at John Clark Stadium in Plano, Texas, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with registration starting at 8 a.m. The South Metroplex camp will be held at Cedar Hill High School from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with registration starting at 3 p.m.

The road camps close out with the Central Texas camp on Saturday, June 20, at New Braunfels Canyon High School. Registration starts at 8 a.m. with camps running from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Pre-registration for all three road camps is $30 with on-site registration priced at $40 which includes a camp t-shirt. All road camps are for campers entering ninth through 12th grades in 2015.
