Houston Football to Offer Walk-On Tryouts This Spring

HOUSTON - The Houston Football program announced it will host walk-on tryouts next week for current University of Houston students. A critical part of any college football program, Houston's walk-on program has seen 22 walk-ons earn scholarships over the last seven years.

Students interested in walking on to the Houston Football program must attend a 4 p.m. tryout on Wednesday, Feb. 18. The tryout will be held at the Houston Football Practice Facility located behind the Athletics/Alumni Center at 3100 Cullen Blvd.
Interested participants must be a full-time student at the University of Houston, enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours at the University of Houston main campus for the spring of 2015 and have at least two years of eligibility remaining. Good academic standing (2.5 G.PA. or above) and no classes after 2 p.m. are also required.
