Kullerkann Tabbed Conference Offensive Player of the Week

HOUSTON - Redshirt junior Kadi Kullerkann and senior libero Natalie Keck were selected to the American Athletic Conference weekly awards for Week four of the season.
Kullerkann was named the Offensive Player of the Week as she put up a record-setting 37-kill performance in a five-set win over Texas A&M-Coprus Christi Friday night. Her accomplishment is a school record in a five-set match and an American Athletic Conference record.
The Estonian's 37-kill showing sits No. 2 in the nation (kills in a 5-set match) this season.
For her outstanding showing, Kullerkann was named to the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders Classic all-tournament team.
Keck was named to the conference's weekly honor roll as she recorded a career best of 39 digs in the five-set win over TAMUCC. Her all-star performance is tied for second all-time in school history (all-time and in a five-set match) and was one dig shy of a conference record.
The Louisville, Ky., native stands tied for 5th in the nation (digs in a 5-set match), 11th in the nation (Career Digs - 1,682), tied 29th in the nation (digs per set).
Houston is now 8-4 entering American Athletic Conference Play next weekend.
UP NEXT
Houston returns home for the first American Athletic Conference matches of the season this weekend. The Cougars take on Cincinnati Friday at 7 p.m. followed by a Sunday match against Memphis at 1 p.m.
