Inclement Weather Cancels Tuesday's Baseball Game

HOUSTON—Due to field conditions, accommodations for ULL travel, and pending weather in the Houston area, the Cougars’ Tuesday non-conference baseball game against UL-Lafayette has been cancelled and will not be made up this season. Houston will prep for its final C-USA series vs. Memphis, which begins on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Cougar Field.
TICKET INFORMATION
Fans who previously purchased a ticket to tonight’s game can use the ticket to any of the three remaining home games this week. Please bring your ticket(s) to the game you would like to attend and they will be exchanged.
A LOOK AHEAD
The Cougars are 17-30-1 overall and will look to land a spot in the C-USA Championship next week in Pearl, Mississippi. Houston currently sits in 8th place, 1.5 games ahead of Marshall, who meets Tulane in New Orleans this weekend. Eight-of-the-Nine C-USA teams will advance to the league’s tournament.
UP NEXT
Houston will welcome Memphis to town for a three-game series that begins on Thursday. Games times are slated for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.
