Wednesday's Baseball Game vs. Washington Cancelled

HOUSTON —Due to the threat of inclement weather later this week, the University of Houston baseball program announced Monday that it has cancelled Wednesday's game against Pac 12 member Washington at Cougar Field.
"With the threat of severe weather hitting the Houston area this week, we understand Washington's decision not to travel south for two midweek non-conference games," head coach Todd Whitting said.
The Huskies were scheduled to play at Lamar on Tuesday, but that game also was cancelled due to the threat. Wednesday's game against the Cougars will not be rescheduled.
Houston is expected to host Texas A&M on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., but the status of that game remains questionable. A decision will be made by Tuesday morning.
