C-USA Announces 2012 Baseball TV Schedule

IRVING, Texas -Conference USA has announced its preliminary baseball television schedule for the 2012 season. The Cougars are set for seven televised games thus far, airing both regionally and nationally.
The schedule will feature games nationally on Fox Sports Networks (FSN), CBS Sports Network and ESPN 3, as well as regionally on CSS Sports.
Additional games remain a possibility and will be announced at a later date.
"Conference USA has established itself as a national power in baseball and we are pleased that more of our fans will be able to watch our teams play this season on television," said Conference USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky.
Included in the current schedule is a live broadcast of the C-USA Baseball Tournament Championship Game on Sunday, May 27. Additional C-USA Championship games may be added to the television schedule.

Conference USA's 17th baseball season gets underway on February 17. The conference tournament is scheduled for May 23-27 in Pearl, Miss. C-USA's nine baseball schools have produced 68 NCAA appearances and 10 College World Series teams over the past 16 seasons.
