Houston Diving Heads to Hawai'i

HOUSTON - The University of Houston diving team returns to the boards Thursday at the Hawai'i Diving Invitational. The three-day event will run from Thursday, Jan. 5 through Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
The Cougars will be competing for the first time since early December when they had a strong showing at the Texas Invitational. While in Austin, Julia Lonnegren took first place in the one-meter dive and finished fifth in the three-meter at the highly-competitive meet as she was named Conference USA Diver of the Week for the performance.
In addition to host Hawai'I, the divers will face competition from Harvard, Drury, Minnesota State, Nevada, and Wellesley College.
