Houston Baseball Season Ticket Packages Available

Houston, Texas - Houston Athletics announced season ticket options for the 2012 UH Baseball season on Wednesday, with plans starting as low as $100 for the 28-game home slate at Cougar Field.
Head Coach Todd Whitting begins his second year at the helm of the Houston program and will look to build on last year's Top-Four finish in the league standings as he welcomes back one of C-USA's top pitching rotations and a young, aggressive offensive attack.
Cougar Field hosts an impressive schedule this year, including games against Big 12 foes Texas A&M (March 20) and Baylor (March 27), as well as games against Rice (Feb. 28) and the University of Washington (March 21). The C-USA schedule also ranks among the toughest in collegiate baseball. The league ranked No. 5 nationally in RPI last season and the Cougars open their home league schedule against returning NCAA Regional participant, UCF (March 30-April 1).
A variety of season ticket packages are available from UH, starting as low as $100. Recent graduates (Dec. 2009-Dec. 2011) can purchase reserved seats for just $125 and general admission tickets for just $100.
Family plans (two adults and two children GA tickets) for all 28 home dates start at just $399. Additional youth season tickets are available for just $125.
UH also unveiled its new Flex Plan for 2012, which is 30 general admission tickets for just $150. With this plan a season-ticket holder may use one ticket to each game or multiple tickets to fewer games creating added flexibility to fit their schedule.
Discounted season tickets are also being offered to faculty, staff, and current H-Association members. Reserved season tickets for these groups begin at just $170 and general admission seats start at just $135.Current UH Main Campus faculty/staff members who purchase season tickets are eligible for payroll deduction as a pre-tax debit dispersed over three months of paychecks.
Ticket plans are on sale now through the UH Athletics Ticket Office. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets online at UHCougars.com, by calling the UH Ticket Office at (713) GO-COOGS (462-6647) or by visiting the Athletics Center Box Office.
Houston Baseball opens its 2012 campaign Feb. 17-19 at home vs. Delaware. Game time for the season-opener is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Cougar Field. The Feb. 18 date is scheduled for a 2 p.m. opening pitch while the Feb. 19 contest begins at 1 p.m.
