HOUSTON - The University of Houston volleyball team will continue Conference USA action when it travels to New Orleans, La., for two matches against Tulane this weekend.
The Cougars are scheduled to play the Green Wave on Saturday and Sunday and both matches are slated to begin at 1 p.m. Fans can follow all of the day's action by clicking on the Gametracker link on the volleyball schedule page. Tulane enters the weekend with a 3-7 overall record after going 1-2 last weekend. They knocked off Sam Houston State but fell to Oregon and Florida International. Izabela Grot leads the team with 124 kills and Amaris Genemaras has a team-high 123 digs.
Houston holds a 23-8 lead in the overall series against the Green Wave. Last season, the Cougars won 3-2 at the Athletics/Alumni Center but fell 3-0 when they went on the road to face the Green Wave.
Following the two matches against Tulane, Houston will return to the Athletics/Alumni Center to play UCF on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. The weekend will close out with a 1 p.m. match at UTEP on Oct. 3.
