Former Cougars play major roles in the National Football League this past weekend.
Sebastian Vollmer, RT, New England Patriots (3-1) - played and started at right tackle. The Patriots posted 240 yards in the air with one score, and didn't allow a sack. They also had 122 yards on the ground and three scores. The Patriots defeated the Minnesota Vikings 28-18. Next Up: @ Cleveland, 12 p.m. CT, Cleveland Browns Stadium, CBS
Stanford Routt, CB, Oakland Raiders (1-3) - played and started at cornerback. Tallied two solo tackles and deflected two passes in the Raiders, 33-3, win over the Seattle Seahawks. Next Up: Vs. Kansas City, 3:15 p.m. CT, Oakland Coliseum, CBS
Rex Hadnot, C/G, Arizona Cardinals (2-2) - was active and saw minutes in the Cardinals narrow loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38-35. Next Up: @ Minnesota, 12 p.m. CT, Mall of America Field, FOX
