Football Single-Game Tickets on Sale Tuesday Morning

HOUSTON - Single-game tickets for the 2009 University of Houston Football season will go on sale at 8 a.m., Tuesday, in the Athletics Ticket Office.
However, fans should note that NO Texas Tech tickets will be available during the single-game sale, and none are expected to become available. At this time, the only way that fans can guarantee a ticket to the Texas Tech game is by ordering season tickets or a mini plan.
In addition, season tickets and 3-game mini-plans remain on sale and can be purchased. Season-ticket prices begin at $120, while 3-game mini-plans are available for as low as $99.
Fans can order single-game tickets by calling 713-GO-COOGS or in person at the Athletics Ticket Office during regular business hours. Additional single-game ticket information can be found in the Tickets section at UHCougars.com
This season, the Cougars play host to six home games on John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium, beginning at 4 p.m., Sept. 5, against Northwestern State. The Cougars also meet Big 12 Conference member Texas Tech (8:15 p.m., Sept. 26) before facing Conference USA rivals SMU (6:30 p.m., Oct. 24), Southern Miss (noon, Oct. 31), Memphis (Nov. 21) and Rice (Nov. 28).
The Cougars return 17 starters from a year ago, including eight on offense, which finished second nationally in both total offense (562.8 ypg) and passing yards (401.6 ypg). Junior quarterback Case Keenum is expected to lead the way after finishing with more than 400 yards of total offense per game, best in the nation.
