HOUSTON - The 2009 football season is fast approaching and fans looking to help the Cougars build on an impressive 2008 campaign can do so now by purchasing season tickets.
Fans can save up to $65 when purchasing a season-ticket package over the single-game cost for the upcoming season, which features home games against four 2008 bowl teams.
With an exciting home schedule highlighted by the highly anticipated showdown between two of the nation's most prolific offenses - Texas Tech comes to Robertson Stadium on Sept. 26 - season tickets remain the only means to secure a seat for all six home games.
UH opens conference play against the SMU Mustangs on Oct. 24, before facing Southern Miss on Oct. 31 and Memphis on Nov. 21. The Cougars wrap up their 2009 season with crosstown and C-USA-rival Rice on Nov. 28.
The Cougars kick off the home slate against Northwestern State on Sept. 5.
Season ticket packages start at $120 for general admission seating, saving fans more than 15 percent off single game prices.
