Cougars To Scrimmage, Hold Inaugural Cougar Youth Experience On Saturday

Houston, Texas - For the first time this spring, the University of Houston football team will head to its home field of John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium, as the Cougars take part in their first intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday, March 28, at noon.
The inaugural Cougar Youth Experience immediately follow the two-hour workout and like the scrimmage, is open to the public. The clinic --- which is open to kids from kindergarten through eighth grade --- ¬takes place immediately following the Cougars scrimmage at noon and includes all members of the UH coaching staff as well as the 2009 squad. The first 200 participants receive a free water bottle courtesy of State Farm Insurance, and mini-footballs will be provided by Academy Sports and Outdoors.
Houston began the 2009 spring season with practices on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. The Cougars will work out through the first three weeks of April, culminating in the annual Red-White Game at Robertson Stadium at noon on Saturday, April 18.
