HOUSTON - University of Houston single-game football tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, August 1, for all scheduled home games.
Ticket prices start at just $14 for general admission. Reserved seats are priced at $25 per game. Reserved seats for the Oklahoma State game on Sept. 23 are $35 apiece while GA tickets will go for $20. Youth pricing is available for all games for youngsters from ages three to 18.
The Cougars have a seven-game home slate that includes Tulane (Sept. 9), Grambling State (Sept. 16), Oklahoma State (Sept. 23), Louisiana-Lafayette (Oct. 7), UTEP (Oct. 21), defending Conference USA East Division Champion UCF (Oct. 28) and defending C-USA Champion Tulsa (Nov. 4).
Tickets will be available online at UHCougars.com, on the phone at 1-877-COUGAR-5 or 713-GO-COOGS or in person at the Athletics Department Ticket Office located inside the Athletics/Alumni Center. A high volume of phone calls are expected and fans are encouraged to make their purchases online.
Four sets of ticket mini-packs, released last week, are also available.
Public Mini-Pack #1 includes three tickets to the September 23 game versus Oklahoma State, October 7 contest against Louisiana-Lafayette and the home finale versus Tulsa on November 4.
Public Mini-Pack #2 also includes the OSU and ULL contests but the September 16 first-ever clash with Grambling State is added.
Public Mini-Pack #3 contains tickets to the Grambling and ULL games as well as an October 21 showdown with UTEP.
Finally, if you like teams from Louisiana, Public Mini-Pack #4 is your best bet. This mini-pack provides tickets to the September 9 home opener versus Tulane, and Grambling State and ULL.
Each mini-pack allows a 15% discount of the single-game price.
Season-ticket packages are also available online or by calling the ticket office.
Houston begins the 2006 season on the road, facing arch-rival Rice on September 2, at Rice Stadium.
