City Proclaims University of Houston Cougars Week

HOUSTON - In support of the Conference USA Championship game being hosted by the University of Houston at Robertson Stadium, Mayor Bill White and City Council Member Ada Edwards proclaimed this week as "University of Houston Cougars Week."
The event took place at 2 p.m. Tuesday to honor the proclamation on the second floor of City Hall, located at 901 Bagby. Fans and University of Houston staff attended the proclamation to support the Cougars as they prepare to host Southern Miss at 7 p.m. on Friday.
