Q: What teams are you looking forward to playing and why? What players are you looking forward to playing against? -- Randy from Sacramento, CA

A: I think I am most looking forward to playing Hawaii for non-conference and Cincinnati, Louisville, and South Florida for conference games. I am most looking forward to these games because I feel it will give the team a chance to measure up against some really good players and show everyone what Houston volleyball is really about. I don't necessarily pick out certain players from teams, but look forward to playing good teams. Thanks! Donna

My question is what's it like being an experienced veteran this year and keeping everyone on the same page with your team goals in this post-Wittenburg year? A: Hey EO, thanks for coming to watch us play. Being an experienced veteran just makes the game that much more fun. It also makes me sad to know next year this time I won't be playing for the Cougars. I have had to get used to the leader role. We have really had to work hard as a team this year to make up for the loss of Wittenburg. There are only nine of us right now; so everyone on the team has a huge role. We all depend on each other instead of one person. It is going to be a competitve season. GO COOGS! Jenny
