Seniors Jenny Tanneberger and Jane Anne Karasek have the answers to fan's questions... Your question could be the next answered by a member of the University of Houston volleyball team. Find out what it's like to be part of one of the nation's elite programs!
Juan from Houston asks Jane Anne Karasek:
Q: Why doesn't the University of Houston have a male volleyball team?
A: I'm sorry, I do not know why the University of Houston does not have a male volleyball team. It is a great sport, and I think a lot of men would enjoy playing competively. I know we have an intramurals program that does include volleyball. If you're interested, maybe you could check that out. But if you are determined, then you should start a male volleyball team. Good luck!
Juan from Houston asks Jenny Tanneberger:
Q: What is the biggest problem for the Cougars as an organization?
A: Juan, I cannot speak for the organization as a whole, but concernning the volleyball team, our biggest problem is staying healthy. We have had many injuries which have kept us from getting a consistent line-up with our strongest players. We are starting conference with eight players, which is a challenge for any program. We are confident that these injury setbacks will not keep us down. Thanks for the support and we look forward to playing at home this weekend. Jenny
