Taylor Rodgers

Taylor Rodgers was named the assistant coach of Houston Tennis on June 5, 2026.
Rodgers arrives back in Texas after spending the 2025 and 2026 seasons as an assistant coach at East Carolina.
Before his time at ECU, Rodgers spent a season at Texas A&M where he helped the Aggies to a 28-7 overall record and a 12-1 mark in Southeastern Conference play. The Aggies won the SEC Regular Season title and finished as the SEC Tournament Runner Up.
Texas A&M earned the No. 13 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia en route to clinching the program's first National Championship.
Prior to his stop in Aggieland, Rodgers spent the 2022-23 season as the director of operations at Tennessee where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of both Volunteer Tennis programs, inducing team travel, equipment, facilities, camps, special events and home match coordination. He served as the main contact for several campus events including the ITA Fall Regionals, Kick-Off Weekend, UTR Pro Series and NCAA Regional and Super Regionals
After graduating from Abilene Christian, Rodgers served as a volunteer assistant coach and director of operations for the Wildcats' men's and women's programs.
Rodgers helped the men's program claim the WAC Tournament Championship and earn the team's first NCAA Tournament berth. He also served as the Wildcats' recruiting coordinator, where he signed the first women's five-star recruit since 2017.
