Jacob Coltrane enters his second season with the Houston women’s basketball program handling all aspects of the video department.
The South Carolina graduate cuts all opponent’s video for scouting purpses to assists the coaches with in-depthh video scouting reports. Coltrane also helps manage the program’s practice player program and prepare them for practice, scouts and opponent tendencies and plays.
Coltrane joined Houston from Virigina where he held the same role for the Cavaliers in 2021-22.
The South Carolina native got his first Division I job under Dawn Staley at South Carolina as a Graduate Assistant during the 2018-20 seasons where he assisted with recruiting, daily practice drills, scouting reports and game plans.
A native of Greensboro, N.C., Coltrane received his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from South Carolina in 2018 before earning a Master of Health Information Technology from his alma mater in 2020.
In his spare time, Coltrane enjoys watching college football, golf, exploring new restaurants, and hiking the North Carolina mountains.
