2023 Outdoor: Competed in eight meets…Notched 13 top five finishes, achieving three first place finishes…Named male track and male freshman athlete of the week once…Chalked up two gold medal finishes and one bronze medal finish his first meet of the season, with times of 10.67 (1st) in the 100 and a jump of 23' 10.25" (1st) in the long jump and a time of 21.97 (3rd) in the 200-meter dash…At the Joey Haines Invite placed second in the 200-meter (22.11) and the long jump (23' 11", 7.29m) and first in the 4x400 (3:19.15)...Crossed the line at 3:22.55 and jumped for a mark of 45' 5.25" in the 4x400 and triple jump for fifth and third at the Cougar Classic…Posted three top five finishes at the Memphis Tiger Invite in the 100-meter (10.78, 3rd), the 4x100 (42.03, 2nd), and the the triple jump (22' 6.25", 4th)...With his 4x100 team he captured the bronze medal with a time of 41.34, also jumped for a mark of 22' 9.75" (11th) at the OVC Outdoor Championship.
AT SOUTHEAST MISSOURI STATE
2023 Indoor: Competed in all eight meets…Totaled nine top five finishes…At the Edmonds-Wilt Invitational set a PR in the 300 while placing second with a run of 36.56… During the Redhawks Invite, he set a PR in the long jump, jumping a 23’ 2.5’’ (7.07m) mark and a second place finish, PR in the 400 with a run of 52.97 (3rd) while also placing second in the 4x400 with a time of 3:36.93… At the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic set another new PR in the 200 meter crossing the line at 22.20 (7th) and placed fourth in the long jump with a jump of 22’ 9.25’’ (6.94m)...During the Hoosier Hills invite set a new PR in the 60-meter dash preliminaries, with a time of 52.97 and jumped for a 22’ 8’’ (6.91m) mark and a fifth place finish…At the 2023 Redhawks Open set a new PR in the triple jump while placing second jumping 44’ 8’’ (13.61m)...At the OVC set a new PR in the 60-meter prelims placing seventh with a run of 6.94 and eighth (6.99) in the finals, his 4x400 team also grabbed the silver medal with a 3:17.50 finish.
Prep: Competed in sprints and jumps at Liberty High School...Picked up three first-place finishes in sprints and another two in jumps as a senior...State Champion 5A in the long jump with a personal record 24’ 4.5”...Won the 100m at the North Mesquite Norris/Robertson Relays...Took first in the 200m at Colony Cougar Invitational...Also won the 4x100 relay in that meet.
