Outdoor: Opened season with a ninth=place finish at the Houston Spring break invitational after clearing 14-7.25 (4.45m)... finished 11th at the Victor Lopez Classic after clearing 15-1.5 (4.61m)... finished in eighth-place at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight meet after clearing 15-2.75 (4.64m)... had a career day at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster after clearing 15-3.5 (4.66m)

Indoor: Vaulted in six regular season meets for the Cougars...Set a personal best at the Leonard Hilton Invitational, going up and over the bar, at 4.60m (15-1.0) to finish fourth...Opened his career with a third place finish in the vault at 4.52m (14-10.0).
Outdoor: Compete in five meets during his freshman outdoor campaign…Set an outdoor personal best in his final meet of the year, clearing the pole vault bar at 14-7.25 (4.45m)…Posted a pair of top-10 finishes, including a seventh-place leap of 14-1.25 (4.30m) at the season-opening Cougar Spring Break Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL
Took the bronze medal in the pole vault at the 6A State Championship to close out his senior season...Claimed his area and regional championships in the pole vault during the 2017 season...Was a regional qualifier in each of his sophomore and junior seasons.

Son of Kaddie and Robert Platt...His mother, Kaddie, is the Volleyball Head Coach at the University of Houston.
