Prior to Houston
Ran cross country at McNeese State before transferring to Texas Tech were she competed for the track team.
High School
Ran track at Angleton High School for Coach Cants....reached the Regional finals in the 800m...also raced in the Junior Olympics in the 800m, 1500m and as a member of 4X800m relay teams...also was a Honor Roll student and a Merit Scholar...volunteered for Peer Assistant and Leadership (PALs).

Born August 8, 1987 to Perry Lux Sr. and Valarie Lux ... has five siblings Michael, Perry Jr., Andrew, Kanetta, Kanena ... enjoys running, gospel singing, reading, learning and going to church ... majoring in geophysics.
