Finished in ninth place in the 60 meters with a time of 7.17 at the Houston Indoor Opener...posted a time of 52.10 in the 400m at the UH All-Comers Meet.
Prior to Houston
Ran track at Texas State... recorded personal bests of 10.84 in the 100 meters and 22.2 in the 200 meters.
High School
District champion in the 100 and 200 meters... two-time regional qualifier... state qualifier in the 200 meters... finished seventh in the 200 meters at the state meet... also a member of the baseball and football teams... attended American Legion Boy State in 2004... member of the Austin Striders Track Club.

Born Oct. 26, 1987 in Benin, Nigeria... grandson of Hazel Phillips... also recruited by Texas-San Antonio, Texas State and Texas Tech... chose Houston for its prestigious track program... hobbies include running and reading.
