Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the high jump, where he went up-and-over the bar at 6-7.0 (2.01m) to finish 40th…Took fourth at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships in the high jump, scoring five points for Houston, after clearing the bar at 6-9.75 (2.08m)…Won the high jump at the Tom Tellez Invitational at 6-7.0 (2.01m)…Set a career-best in the high jump with his victory at the Victor Lopez Classic with a mark of 6-10.75 (2.10m).
2016-17 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Competed in the high jump in seven meets during his sophomore indoor slate...Finished sixth at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships with a mark of 2.01m (6-7)...Set a new personal best when he went up-and-over the bar at 2.98m (6-10.25) to open the season at the Texas A&M Reveille Invitational.
Outdoor: Earned Third Team All-American Athletic Conference honors after a bronze finish in the high jump at The American Championships where he leapt 2.05m (6-8.75)...Began working the 400-meter dash into his regimen, clocking a best of 51.29 at the Houston Alumni Invitational.
2015-16 (Freshman)
Indoor: Competed in the high jump at six meets for the Cougars...Finished just off the podium in fourth place at The American Indoor Championships after jumping 2.03m (6'8")...Notched a career-best 2.04m (6'8.25") leap at the Charlie Thomas Invitational where he finished fifth...Began his career at the Texas A&M Reveille Invitational where he jumped 1.97m in the high jump to finish fourth
