Ryan Folloder joined the Houston Football Equipment team in August 2023 as a Graduate Assistant for Equipment Services after spending three seasons as a Student Equipment Manager at Texas.

Folloder assists in managing inventory, preparing for all recruiting events, fitting protective equipment and ensuring all apparel items are sanitized, sorted and distributed to assigned personnel. He also assists in supervising a staff of 17 student managers and oversees the daily set up and break down of the practice field and facility.

Folloder also helps the Defensive Coordinator and defensive assistants in the press box during games by charting defensive play calls, opposing offensive formations and play designs, as well as down, distance, and result of each play.

A Houston, Texas native, Folloder started his collegiate career at Texas Tech before transferring to Texas where he graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Dimensions of Organizations with a Minor in Business.
