Tanner Koziol Earns PFSN All-America First Team Honors

HOUSTON – Houston Football senior tight end Tanner Koziol netted his first All-America honors of the year, receiving a First Team nod from Pro Football and Sports Network, the organization announced Wednesday.

Koziol, who previously received a pair of All-America honors in 2024 and a Freshman All-America accolade in 2022, becomes Houston Football's 114^th All-American after a regular season where he tallied 65 receptions for 651 yards and five touchdowns.

The Bloomingdale, Ill., native led tight ends in FBS in receptions while ranking third in receiving yards and 10^th in touchdowns. He also added 17 contested catches, which pace the country among tight ends and second among all receivers.

Koziol represented 30 percent of Houston's completions on the season, which led tight ends nationally and ranked 15^th among all receivers. He also accounted for 25 percent of the Cougars' receiving yards, which placed him second among FBS tight ends.

The senior boasted an 82.9 receiving grade on the season from Pro Football Focus, ranking fifth among tight ends with at least 25 targets and second among tight ends with 50+ targets.

Koziol snagged one 100+-yard receiving game during the year while posting 50-or-more receiving yards in eight of Houston's 12 games. He also boasts one of the longest streaks of games with a reception in the country, catching a pass in 27 straight games, accounting for over half of his collegiate career.
