• Robert Beacham joined University of Houston Football in February 2023 as its Offensive Analyst. The 2025 season will be his third with the Cougars.
• In 2024, Beacham supported an offensive line which returned just one starter for the first time in 20+ seasons. The 2024 Cougars were led by Peyton Dunn's 85.9 pass-block grade (PFF) which ranked fourth among Big 12 guards. Dunn did not permit a quarterback hit in 11 of 12 games. Starting left tackle David Ndukwe permitted just one sack in 227 opportunities. Jake Wiley, who started all 12 games at right tackle, did not allow a quarterback hit until final game of season and committed no penalties in 11 of 12 games.
• During the 2023 season, his first with Houston, Beacham assisted Eman Naghavi with the offensive line, tutoring a pair of postseason senior bowl invitees in team captains Patrick Paul (Reese’s Senior Bowl) and Jack Freeman (Hula Bowl).
• Paul, who became Houston's first All-Big 12 Conference First Team honoree, did not permit a sack alongside just one quarterback hit in 468 opportunities at left tackle. The junior led the nation with a 92.8 pass block grade according to PFF. As a unit, the Cougars permitted just one sack in four Big 12 matchups and allowed just seven sacks across four league road games (751 pressure opportunities).
• Prior to Houston, Beacham spent one season as Tulane’s Offensive Line Graduate Assistant, helping develop three All-American Athletic Conference honorees including two First Team honorees. The Green Wave finished 12-2 in 2022 including capturing the American Athletic Conference championship en route to a Cotton Bowl victory over #10 USC.
• That season, Tulane led The American in a host of categories including total touchdowns (66), pass efficiency (160.5), redzone touchdowns (48) and fewest interceptions (5). The Green Wave ranked 12th nationally in rushing touchdowns (24), 19th in points per game (36) and 20th in rushing yards per game (204.8).
• Beacham spent the 2021 season as Central Missouri’s Running Backs Coach, Tight Ends Coach and Special Teams Assistant Coach. He was also responsible for key recruiting areas including Oklahoma, Northwest Arkansas & Little Rock as well as transfer portal monitoring. That said, UCM led the MIAA in passing offense and passing touchdowns as six student-athletes went on to earn all-conference honors.
• Prior to Central Missouri, he served as Defensive/Special Teams Quality Control and Assistant Defensive Line Coach at North Alabama from July 2020-January 2021. There, Beacham recruited East Tennessee, East Georgia, North Florida and monitored the transfer portal. He was responsible for designing and running pre-practice defensive warmups as well as in-game and halftime warmups.
• Beacham began his collegiate coaching career at Harding as the program’s Wide Receivers Coach and Special Teams Assistant while also assisting with graphic design for social media/recruiting – a role he marinated at North Alabama.
• Beacham played fullback, tight end and on special teams collegiately, beginning his career at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke before playing his final two seasons at Bethel University in Tennessee. There, he helped Bethel reach the NAIA National Playoffs behind an undefeated league slate as part of the Mid-South Conference. In 2018, Bethel posted the highest scoring offense in collegiate football, averaging 55.0 points per game and 540.3 yards per game.
• He received his Bachelor of Science in physical education from UNC Pembroke, registering a 3.55 GPA, before obtaining his Master of Education in Teaching Excellence from Bethel with a 3.71 GPA. He was also a 2019 team captain at Bethel.
