SENIOR (2018)
Was one of Houston's go-to relievers...Made 23 appearances...Tallied a perfect 3-0 record out of the bullpen...Owned a 4.15 ERA...Struck out 21 in 21.2 innings of work...Went a season-long 3.0 innings twice vs. USF (April 6) and vs. ECU (May 24)...Didn't allow an earned run in first three appearances, spanning 3.2 innings...Allowed just one earned run over 8.1 innings and nine appearances (March 11 -- April 22)...Made first appearance as a Cougar in series finale vs. Holy Cross (Feb. 18), striking out three in 1.0 inning...Didn't allow a home run all season...Helped Houston to a conference regular-season title and an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.

Comes to Houston as a graduate transfer after playing three seasons at Baylor…Saw action in four years, but earned a medical redshirt after eight games his true freshman season in 2014….Was a four-time Big 12 All-Academic Team member.
Junior (2017): Made a career-high 26 appearances with one start…Totaled 34 strikeouts in 36.0 innings.
Sophomore (2016): Made 22 appearances and started two games in 2016…Finished with a 3.62 ERA with four wins in 27.1 innings…Had five straight scoreless appearances from March 13-26 and again from April 9-24 with one game separating the streaks…Notched 16 scoreless appearances.
Redshirt-Freshman (2015): Made 13 appearances before ending season due to Tommy John surgery.
Freshman (2014): Appeared in eight games from Feb. 16 to March 7 before running into arm issues and earning a redshirt.

Earned four letters in baseball at Galveston Ball High School…Helped team to back-to-back Co-District Championships in 2012-13…Named Male Athlete of the Year in 2013…Earned First Team All-District and All-County honors and named Co-Team MVP in 2013…Was a Preseason Rawlings All-Texas Region First Team honoree…Named to 2013 Houston Area All-Star Team…Compiled an 8-1 record with a 1.05 ERA in 62.0 innings with 76 strikeouts and three saves in 2013…Off the field, was a member of National Honor Society and Chemistry Honor Society.
