Finished sixth in Pole Vault at the Reveille Invitational with a height of 15-7.75 (4.77) ... Finished fifth in pole vault at Red Raider Invitational with a height of 16-0.75 (4.90m) ... Took silver in pole vault at the Leonard Hilton Memorial with a height of 16-6.75 (5.05m) ... Tied for ninth in pole vault at the Houston Invitational with a height of 16.75 (4.9m) ... Competed in the pole vault in six regular season meets for the Cougars during his indoor rookie campaign...Set a personal best in the vault with a mark of 4.90m (16-0.75) to finish fifth at the Howie Ryan Invitational...Began his career with a third-place finish at the Reveille Invitational, where he went up and over the bar at 4.52m (14-10.0).
OUTDOOR
Qualified for the NCAA West Regional in the pole vault during his freshman season, where he cleared the bar at 16-4.75 (5.00m) to finish 18th…Finished seventh in the vault at The American Outdoor Championships, scoring two points for Houston by clearing the bar at 15-11.0 (4.85m)…Set his personal-best in the vault at the Texas Invitational, going up-and-over at 17-0.75 (5.20m)…Tallied top-5 finishes in each of the first four meets he competed in during 2018.
HIGH SCHOOL
Finished fifth at the state meet during his junior season when he cleared the bar in the pole vault at 15-1 to set a school record...Also competed in baseball where he was a First Team All-District Outfielder during his senior season.
