JUNIOR (2020)
Made five appearances in the circle, where she posted a 2.37 ERA in her 20.2 innings of work … Earned her first victory with the Cougars having tossed a complete-game shutout over Louisiana Tech (Feb. 21) … Helped guide Houston to its first 11-game winning streak since 2011, where she threw two shutouts and didn’t allow a run during that stretch.
PRIOR TO HOUSTON
Won the Sun Belt Conference (SBC) Championship and the SBC Tournament Championship in 2018 with Texas State, leading the Bobcats to an NCAA Regional berth … Posted a 2.88 ERA in her 56.0 innings of work, having struck out 41 batters in the process … Guided Texas State to seven wins in her nine starts … Began her career tossing 20 scoreless innings.
HIGH SCHOOL
Led Hardin High School to an area championship in 2016 … Named the MVP in District 23-3A from 2015-16 … Recorded a breakout 2016 campaign that saw her record 337 strikeouts and surrender just six earned runs, while batting .655 and posting a 1.045 slugging percentage, which resulted in her being selected to the Texas Girl’s Coaches Association Class 3A All-State First Team … Also competed on the basketball and volleyball team, where she was an All-District player in both sports.
