Indoor: Won gold in the 60-meter hurdles at the Reveille Invitational with a time of 7.82 ... Took second in the 200-meter dash at the Texas Tech Corky Classic with a time of 20.99 ... Won gold in the 60-meter hurdles at the Texas Tech Corky Classic with a time of 7.85 ... Took silver in the 60-meter hurdles at Red Raider Invitational with a time of 7.71 ... Finished 23rd in the 60-meter dash at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a time of 7.00 ... Took silver in the 400-meter dash at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a time of 46.91 ... Took bronze in the 200-meter dash at the Houston Invitational with a time of 21.23 ... Indoor: Was a member of the 4x400-meter relay squad that broke the school record at the at the Tyson Invitational with a time of 3:04.18...Won the 60-meter hurdles at the Houston Invitational with a time of 7.80, earning American Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors...Won the 60 hurdles at the Corky Classic in 7.85 on Jan. 13...Opened his season with a victory at the Reveille Invitational in the 60 hurdles in 7.98.
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA Championships in each of the 110- and 400-meter hurdles, and was a member of Houston’s 4x400-meter relay squad that placed fifth. Earned First Team All-American honors for his role in the relay event, while picking up Honorable Mention All-America honors for the other events…Set the school record in the 400-meter hurdles on each day of the NCAA West Regional, running 49.71 in the First Round, before returning to run 49.70 the next day…Claimed his third-consecutive American Athletic Conference Championships in the 110-meter hurdles, while picking up a silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles, earning First Team and Second Team All-American Athletic Conference honors, respectively in each event…Ran sub-21 in the 200-meter dash at the Tom Tellez Invitational, setting a personal-best in 20.95 to finish ninth…Was a member of Houston’s 4x400-meter relay squad that broke the school record in 3:01.82 en route to winning their first Penn Championship in the event…Helped Houston win a Texas Relays championship as a member of the 4x200-meter relay team that ran 1:21.20.
2016-17 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Finished 10th at the NCAA Indoor Championships in College Station, when he ran the 60-meter hurdles in 7.85 to earn Second Team NCAA All-America Honors...Claimed the American Athletic Conference Championships in the 60-meter hurdles with a mark of 8.09m...Earned First Team All-Conference laurels for his performance in the 60-meter hurdles, and third team honors for the team's bronze in the 4x400-meter relay (3:14.36) and a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash (21.16)...Set a personal best and tied for the third-fastest time in school history with a 7.74 in the 60m hurdles at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 11.
Outdoor: Qualified for the USATF National Championships in the 110-meter hurdles where he placed 15th in 14.06...Earned Honorable Mention NCAA All-America honors after a 23rd place finish in the 110-meter hurdles...Also qualified for the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships but did not compete due to an injury suffered in the 110m race...Won the American Athletic Conference Championships in each of the 110- and 400-meter hurdles in 14.03 and 50.95 respectively, earning First Team All-Conference honors in each...Set a personal best in the 400-meter hurdles with an eighth place finish in 50.59 at the NCAA West Prelims.
2015-16 (Freshman)
Indoor: Competed in seven events during the indoor slate, running in three separate events throughout the season...Scored big points for the Cougars when he finished fourth in the 60m hurdles in 7.98 at The American Indoor Championships...Ran a personal best 7.91 at the Howie Ryan Invitatonal where he finished fifth in the 60m hurdles...Took second place in the 60m hurdles in 7.95 in just his second meet, the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational...Began his career with a second place finish in the 60m hurdles after running 8.02 at the Texas A&M Reveille Invitational
Outdoor: Ran 53.41 in his first 400-meter hurdle race of his career at the Baylor Invitational...Finished fifth at the Texas Relays with a 13.88 in the 110-meter hurdles...Impressed in his outdoor debut after running a wind-aided 13.92 to win the 110m hurdles at the UTSA Invitational.
