Agnello Named to AP All-Bowl Team

Offensive lineman earns award for Texas Bowl performance
HOUSTON – Houston Football Offensive lineman McKenzie Agnello was named to the Associated Press' All-Bowl Team after his strong performance blocking in the Cougars' Texas Bowl win over LSU on Dec. 27, 2025.
The offensive guard played all 87 snaps in the game, did not allow a pressure, hurry, hit or sack on his way to posting a game-high 87.0 pass block grade in the game against LSU (Pro Football Focus grades). Agnello's 87.0 pass block grade was the 19th best nationally during bowl week (non-CFP games).
Agnello aided Houston's offensive line block for the Cougars rushing attack that gained 200+ yards for the fourth consecutive game ad seventh of the season.
The Copperas Cove, Texas native finished the season with five games with 80+ pass block grades and did not allow a sack all season. His 73.0 pass block grade led Houston linemen and was 10th among Big 12 Conference juniors.
