Cougars to tip off at #12/12 Texas Tech at 1 p.m., Saturday, inside US Supermarkets Arena

LUBBOCK, Texas – Due to the threat of severe winter weather, the #6/6 University of Houston Men's Basketball program's game on Saturday has been moved up.

The Cougars now will tip off against Big 12 Conference rival #12/12 Texas Tech at 1 p.m., Saturday, inside US Supermarkets Arena.

The Cougars look for a sweep of the Red Raiders during the regular season after taking a 69-65 win inside Fertitta Center in Houston on January 6. Freshman point guard Kingston Flemings led all players with 23 points and drained a 3-pointer with Houston holding a 1-point lead and only 30 seconds remaining to seal the victory.

• Fans can watch Saturday's game on ESPN with Dan Shulman (play-by-play), Jay Bilas (analyst) and Stormy Buonantony (reporter) calling.
• Fans can hear Saturday's game on 950 AM KPRC, the Varsity Network app and SiriusXM Ch. 160 or Ch. 199 with Jeremy Branham (play-by-play) calling. The pregame show begins at 12:45 p.m., Saturday.
• Fans can follow live stats from Sunday's game on StatBroadcast.

Single-game home tickets for all games inside Fertitta Center are now on sale, and fans are encouraged to purchase quickly while supplies last. The two-time defending Big 12 Conference Champions, Houston will play host to six more conference games in 2025-26.
