
Big 12 Conference Reveals Houston Women’s Basketball 2025-26 Pairings

Cougars set for home-and-away series against Kansas State, Texas Tech and TCU
HOUSTON – The Big 12 Conference announced the 18-game women's basketball schedule matrix for the 2025–26 season on Thursday. Under first-year Head Coach Matthew Mitchell, Houston will play three conference opponents twice and the other 12 teams once.

Houston will play home-and-home series against Kansas State, TCU and Texas Tech.
Coach Mitchell's squad is set to host BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Iowa State, UCF and Utah inside Fertitta Center.
On the road, the Cougars will face Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma State and West Virginia.
Opponents were selected based to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness. The remainder of the 2025-26 Houston Women's Basketball schedule, including dates and times, will be released at a later date.

Seating inside the Fertitta Center for all Houston Women's Basketball games will be reserved starting at $100. The ticket renewal deadline for returning season ticket holders is Monday, June 30.
Season ticket holders can also add a season-long parking pass inside the Stadium Garage for $75.
Fans who opt for floor, loge and club seats will have access to amenities in the Sideline Club such as complimentary popcorn and soft drinks. A concession stand and cash bar will also be located for fans in the Sideline Club.

- The Cougars will renew their series with TCU for the first time since the 2023-24 season.

- The Cougars will host Utah at home for the first time since Dec. 16, 1988, when Houston defeated Utah, 65-62.
- Houston heads to Tucson, Ariz. to face the Wildcats for the first time since the 1980–81 season.
- The Cougars will face Arizona State for the first time inside Desert Financial Arena.
- Houston returns to Stillwater, Okla., to face Oklahoma State, where the Cougars earned their first Big 12 win in program history, 65-57 (Feb. 17, 2024).
