18 Set for Big 12 Pro Day

Houston slated to have 18 representatives at Big 12 Pro Day
HOUSTON – The Big 12 Conference, in partnership with the NFL, is set to host its second annual Big 12 Pro Day at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, March 18-21, with the University of Houston represented by 18 athletes at this year's event.
The 18 Cougars will get to show off their talents, strength and speed in front of nearly 300 NFL scouts and personnel and compete against over 200 football athletes from the Big 12.
Player workouts will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19 with the offensive linemen followed by defensive linemen and linebackers. Running backs and tight ends will kick off the action on Thursday, March 20 at 9:15 a.m. followed by quarterbacks and defensive backs. Friday will be the specialists' morning on the field.
Big 12 Pro Day is open to the public on March 19 and March 20 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT with the March 21 session open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Parking will be available in any of the public garages and lots surrounding The Star.
Houston's 18 representatives set to showcase their abilities in Frisco consist of 10 defensive athletes, seven offensive athletes and one special teams athlete.
Among the 10 defensive athletes, there are four defensive backs, four defensive linemen and three linebackers. The seven offensive Cougars comprise of five offensive linemen, a quarterback and a tight end.
