Men’s Basketball Offers New Premium Seating for 2024-25 Season

HOUSTON – University of Houston Men's Basketball fans will enjoy new premium seating with the addition of Terrace Boxes inside the Fertitta Center ahead of the 2024-25 season.

These new four-seat, banquette-style boxes will be located on the concourse level behind Section 116. Fans who purchase the new Terrace Box seats receive four tickets to all regular-season Houston Men's Basketball games, in-seat service and access to the Sideline Club.

Terrace Boxes will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans interested in purchasing Terrace Box seats should call the Cougar Pride office at 713-743-GoUH (4684) during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.

In 2023-24, the Cougars posted a perfect 17-0 record inside Fertitta Center on the way to winning the Big 12 Conference regular-season championship by two games in their first year in the league. It was the 11^th undefeated home schedule in program history and the third under 2024 National and Big 12 Coach of the Year Kelvin Sampson.

Houston enters the 2024-25 season with a 22-game home winning streak, the longest active streak in the country.

Sampson and the Cougars begin the 2024-25 season when they play host to Texas A&M in a charity exhibition game at 4 p.m., Oct. 27 inside Fertitta Center.

Proceeds from the game will benefit Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 6 and those who were affected by Hurricane Beryl throughout the greater Houston area in July. For more information about how to apply for assistance from that storm, fans can click here.

Houston open the 2024-25 regular season when it meets Jackson State on Monday, Nov. 4. It will be the first of seven non-conference games inside the friendly confines of Fertitta Center.

Game times, broadcasting networks, the Big 12 Conference schedule and the Cougars' exhibition game will be released soon.

While game times, dates and broadcasting networks have not been announced for the Big 12 Conference schedule, Houston knows its 2024-25 league matrix. For the first time in school history, Houston will play a 20-game conference schedule.

The Cougars will face Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and West Virginia in home-and-away series. BYU, Cincinnati, Iowa State, TCU and Utah will visit Fertitta Center while the Cougars hit the road to face Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Kansas State and UCF.
