Cougars and Ladyjacks End in Scoreless Draw

Houston travels to face Tarleton State at 1 p.m., Sunday
HOUSTON – The University of Houston soccer team ended its match against Stephen F. Austin in a scoreless draw at the Carl Lewis International Complex on Thursday evening.
The Cougars (0-2-1) held the LadyJacks (0-0-2) to 10 shots, while only being able to muster 11 of their own in the match.
The earliest chance for Houston came in the 14th minute as senior defender Anna Reysa took a shot from just outside the box, but was corralled by goalkeeper Lydia Sattler.
Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Dietrich recorded five stops of her own to move into ninth place in program history for career saves.
Four Cougars took a pair of shots including sophomore midfielder Aryanna Jimison who made her season debut.
