Frias adds LSU transfer to 2024 roster
HOUSTON – University of Houston Soccer Head Coach Jaime Frias announced the addition of midfielder Jordan Johnson, on Monday.
"Jordan is a player that will add a great deal of experience to an already competitive midfield group," said Frias. "She is skillful, creative and can solve pressure to keep possession or break lines. She has experience playing in big games which will serve our team well. Jordan's "team first" mentality and selfless attitude will help enhance our team culture and fits perfectly with what we're building at the University of Houston."
The Denver, Colo., native, comes to Houston after spending four seasons at LSU, where she competed in 64 matches, making 17 starts. Johnson tallied three goals, four assists and 10 points in her time in purple and gold.
Johnson logged 2,307 minutes with a career-high 631 coming during the 2023 season. She was one of three players for the Tigers to play all 90 minutes in the 3-1 victory at No. 9 Texas (Aug. 24, 2023).
