Game Themes Unveiled Ahead of 2024 Football Season

New era of Cougar Football underway August 31 inside TDECU Stadium
HOUSTON – University of Houston Football has unveiled themes for its six-game home slate inside TDECU Stadium this fall beginning with the celebration of a "New Era of Cougar Football" presented by TDECU at 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 31, against UNLV.
The Cougars will host their annual "Celebrate Houston" matchup against cross-town rival Rice at 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, as part of the annual battle for the Bayou Bucket.
Houston Football celebrates "Family Weekend" and "Hispanic Heritage" presented by Memorial Hermann against Iowa State on Saturday, Sept. 28. After an extended stay on the road, the Cougars welcome all alumni back to campus for "Homecoming" presented by Coca-Cola on Saturday, Oct. 26, against Utah.
Houston and Kansas State clash on Saturday, Nov. 2, as part of "Heroes Night" presented by ICON Consultants where the program will recognize military and first responders. The Cougars honor their senior class as part of "Senior Night" presented by UH Alumni Association on Saturday, Nov. 23, against in-state rival Baylor.
Additional promotions and giveaways will be announced as the season draws closer.
Season tickets are currently on sale for as low as $99 by clicking here or by calling 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647). Mini plans will launch Monday, July 8, and feature a Texas Two-Step for the Rice and Baylor matchups as well as a Pick 3 package. Single-game seats go on sale to season ticket holders Monday, July 29. A "game a day" roll out to the public begins with UNLV tickets available Friday, Aug. 2, Rice tickets on sale Monday, Aug. 5, Iowa State seats on sale Tuesday, Aug. 6, and so forth with Baylor tickets wrapping up the single-day roll outs Friday, Aug. 9.
