ABOUT the COUGARS
In 2024-25, Houston Men's Basketball returns nine letterwinners and four starters from last year's squad which posted a 32-5 overall record and captured the Big 12 Conference championship in its first year in the league with a 15-3 mark.
Under the leadership of Associated Press National Coach of the Year and Henry Iba Award recipient, Kelvin Sampson, the Cougars competed in their sixth straight NCAA Tournament to extend their school record and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the fifth straight season, the second-longest active streak in the country.
Behind 2024 All-American LJ Cryer and All-Big 12 performers J'Wan Roberts, Ja'Vier Francis and Emanuel Sharp, the Cougars posted a perfect 17-0 record inside Fertitta Center and own the nation's longest active home winning streak with 26 consecutive victories in front of the hometown fans.
2024-25 SCHEDULE
