Cougars held Trojans to a school record low first half points
HOUSTON (AP) – Graduate guard L.J. Cryer scored 22 points and had six 3-pointers, and the #15/13 University of Houston Men's Basketball program used a strong defensive effort to beat Troy 62-42 on Tuesday night inside Fertitta Center.

The 11 first-half points set a school record for fewest allowed in a half, surpassing the 12 Houston gave up in the first half at UConn on Dec. 28, 2016.
Junior guard Emanuel Sharp added 14 points for Houston, which won its 27th straight home game for the nation's longest active streak.
Graduate forward J'Wan Roberts posted six points with a game-high nine rebound and added four assists with two steals and a pair of blocked shots in competing in the 123rd win of his career, extending his school record.
Thomas Dowd had 10 points and Tayton Conerway added nine for Troy (5-4).
