
Swimming & Diving Unveils 2023-24 Schedule

Cougars set to open the season at the Dust Off Your Boots Invitational against Texas
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Swimming and Diving program announced its 2023-24 schedule on Tuesday. The slate, which features four home meets, can be found here.

After clinching their seventh consecutive American Athletic Conference title last season, the Cougars look to retain the same dominance in the Big 12 Conference under third-year Head Coach Tanica Jamison.

Houston will begin the regular season against Texas on Friday, Oct. 6, at the Dust Off Your Boots Invitational in Austin, Texas.Â
On Oct. 13-14, the squad will split up with the divers hosting the Houston Diving Invitational at the CRWC Natatorium while the swimmers head to the Rice Invitational.

Following three-week break, the Cougars will head east to New Orleans on Friday, Nov. 4, for their first dual meet of the season against Tulane.
Â
Jamison's team will travel to College Station, Texas, from Nov. 15-17 to compete at the Art Adamson Invitational hosted by Texas A&M.

Houston will finish out 2023 with the U.S Open Championships, scheduled for Nov. 29 – Dec. 2 in Greensboro, N.C.

The Cougars will resume action in 2024 by hosting three consecutive dual meets, with the first against Texas A&M on Thursday, Jan. 11.

On Friday, Jan. 26, Houston will host Rice and will close its home slate against SMU on Saturday, Feb. 3, for Senior Day.

The Cougars will then compete at their inaugural Big 12 Swimming & Diving Championship from Feb. 27– March 2at the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park in Morgantown, W. Va.

Select student-athletes will compete at the Last Chance Meet on March 3 in Morgantown, W. Va., in search for a spot at the NÂÂCAA Championships

From March 11-13, the divers will host the NCAA Diving Zones at the CRWC Natatorium while the swimmers head to Ocala, Fla., to compete in the CSCAA National Invitational on March 14-16.

Qualifying student-athletes will head to Athens, Ga., to compete in the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships onÂÂ March 20-23.
